Birgit Widmer came for residency in April 2026. She is an artist working across installation, drawing, and textile practices, exploring the relationship between body and space through material-based and often site-responsive processes.
During their residency at Villa Eläintarha, Birgit Widmer and Martina Morger collaborate to explore the dollhouse as a spatial and social model — simultaneously a site of intimacy, control, and projection. The Villa itself serves as a model and site of research for their project.
