HIAP – Helsinki International Artist Programme warmly invite you to an informal networking event at Villa Eläintarha as part of the project Permanent Home of Displacement, a collaboration between Garage 33 Gallery-Shelter and HIAP, on 6.10 at 18.00-20.00
Permanent Home of Displacement is a collaboration between Ukrainian platform Garage 33 Gallery-Shelter and Helsinki International Artist Programme (HIAP). HIAP is working with 5 artists of Crimean Tatar descent: Yusuf Abibulaev, Renata Asanova, Emine Ziyatdin, Elmira Shemshedinova, and Sevila Nariman-Qizi, who will be staying at Villa Eläintarha for a short residency. The artists and project team will visit Helsinki between 1-7 October and would love to meet with the local artists and curators.
The gathering will be small and cozy (space for 20 people). Expect light snacks, drinks, nice conversations, and some new connections.
