The second night of stand-up comedy of 2026 in Villa Eläintarha is sure to send the audience
home with an image they cannot get out of their minds. The show Let It Slide will feature
‘comedians bringing visual aids to support their insightful narratives, ideas and punchlines
with the aid of a giant screen positioned behind them facing the audience. Supported by a
digital device loaded up in advance with pictures they have chosen, they will deliver visual
elements that not only bring what they say to life, but also allow them to present real-world
history and authentic evidence to bring the points they make even greater poignancy.
The result will bear hints of programs like The Daily Show and Last Week Tonight but live in
person with six comedians in a cozy corner of Kallio.
Performances in English and Finnish.
The show will feature two distinct shows within Wedneday 25.2. with two different lineups of
performers, one for an after-work audience (doors open at 5 PM) followed by the evening
lineup, which will open its doors at 7:15 PM. Both will be hosted by Californian comedian
Jason DeBose (Comedy by the Sea), who has recently returned from a seven-country solo
tour and will deliver two distinctly different shows for his segments of this multi-sensory event.
Tickets for 12 EUR to Let It Slide will go on sale on Biletti.fi starting Tuesday 17.2.
