DESCRIPTION:Tämä Loputon Ranta (This Endless Beach) is a private event on
  the 15th of July\, combining a video screening by media artist Paju Häm
 äläinen\, and a live music performance by music producer huntu (Matias H
 einonen)\, curated and organized by Hertta Salokorpi.\nThe screening and p
 erformance takes place in the cellar of Villa Eläintarha\, which served a
 s an intimate\, unique space for the first presentations of the works to a
 n audience. The programme is followed by a relaxed gathering in the idylli
 c backyard of the Villa. \n\nThe video piece Life’s a Beach explores Pa
 ju’s generation's relationship with nature\, and the desire to nurture t
 he quality of this current relationship: “My generation's relationship w
 ith nature is often characterized by otherness or mystification: nature is
  seen as a non-human counterpart to humans\, leading to a division where h
 uman beings and human-related matters are considered separate from nature.
  Instead of making such distinctions\, the work examines a young adult's r
 elationship with nature as a dynamic phenomenon that manifests through act
 ions and agency within the environment”. The work will be presented at G
 alleria Toinen Silmä on the 5th of September. \n\nMatias\, performing un
 der the artist name huntu\, played a live set based on their recently rele
 ased EP Tämä Loputon Aava\, a 20-minute thematic work exploring grief: 
 “Grief is not a veil or a state of numbness: it is a driving\, surging f
 orce that moves one forward and closer to oneself.”\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n&n
 bsp\;
