In February 2026, Leonardo Caffo, philosopher, writer, curator and art critic, visited Villa Eläintarha. During his stay he focused on writing, his residency was part of his preliminary research to start a new book project on anticipationism (Anticipazionismo) — a philosophical and aesthetic framework exploring how to bring fragments of the future into the present through art, literature, and speculative practices. This residency also supported his long-term collaboration with artist Egle Oddo, contributing to curatorial and interdisciplinary work at the intersection of philosophy and contemporary art, particularly in relation to her projects on evolutionary gardens and performative habitats.
