Sarah Albu was in residency at Villa Eläintarha in late May. She is working with Helsinki-based vocalist and sound artist Annika Fuhrmann on an ongoing body of work fusing improvisation, experimental music theatre and performance. Together they explore vocal, bodily and emotional extremes, shifting the cracks between speech, song and sound.
They will perform on 2.6.2026 in an event at Toinen Kerros also featuring performances from Mercedes Krapovickas (bandoneon), Charles Quevillon (performance), and a trio with Paul Pignon (reeds), Liisa Pentti (dance) and Jukka Kääriäinen (guitar). A laid-back early-summer evening with a mix of experimental and improvised performances.
